Using Yahoo Avatars

Using the Yahoo avatars you find on our site is quite simple. Once you have the avatars you like, using them is rather simple! Just follow these instructions.

Adding the avatars

So you have downloaded some new avatars that you like, now you need to add them to your Yahoo Messenger and show them off to your friends! Adding and using them is an easy task, just follow the instructions below, and you will be using your new avatars in a matter of seconds!

1. Open the main Yahoo Messenger window.
2. Press CTRL + SHIFT + K on your keyboard to open up the Yahoo avatar dialog window.
3. Once the dialog is open, click on the area specified in the image below.





4. Once clicked, the My Pictures dialog should appear, this is where we will add the avatars to Yahoo messenger.
5. Now click on the Browse button as specified in the image below.





6. A file selection dialog should appear, this is where you should choose the avatar you want to add to Yahoo.
7. Once you select the file, the avatar should be added in with the other avatars.
8. Repeat steps 6-7 to add as many Yahoo avatars as you like.
9. Click OK to close the opened windows.
10. Enjoy your new avatars!
